Amphoraxe Life Sciences Inc. (“Amphoraxe”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect through amphoraxe.ca, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We collect as little as possible: the site uses no advertising or tracking cookies, and we never sell your information.

When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, company or organization (optional), the topic you select, and your message. We use this only to read and reply to your enquiry. The form is delivered to our team by email; it is not added to a mailing list, and we do not use it for marketing unless you ask us to.
To understand which pages are useful, we use Umami, a privacy-focused analytics tool that we host on our own server in Canada. It records anonymous, aggregate information such as the pages viewed, the referring website, browser and device type, screen size, language, and approximate location (country, region, and city). Location is derived from your IP address at the moment of the visit; your IP address itself is not stored. Umami uses a visitor identifier that cannot be linked back to you and is reset every month. It does not track you across other websites.
Some news articles show a small count of unique readers. This figure comes from the same anonymous analytics data.
Our public website does not set cookies. The only cookie we use is a strictly necessary sign-in cookie for Amphoraxe staff who log in to our internal applications; it is not used for visitors to the public site. Because we use no advertising, analytics, or tracking cookies, there is no cookie banner.

Our fonts and images are hosted on our own website, so simply browsing amphoraxe.ca does not send your information to Google, YouTube, or social media networks. Links to LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and other external websites are governed by those websites’ own privacy policies.
Contact form messages are kept in our email system for as long as needed to respond to you and to maintain normal business records, and are deleted when no longer needed. Anonymous analytics data is kept in aggregate form to help us understand long-term trends.
The website is served exclusively over encrypted HTTPS connections, and access to contact messages and analytics is limited to Amphoraxe team members who need it.
