Amphoraxe Life Sciences was thrilled to take part in Web Summit — one of the world’s largest gatherings of technology companies, founders, and investors. It was an energizing few days of sharing our mission to develop antimicrobial peptide (AMP) alternatives to conventional antibiotics, and learning from the remarkable community of innovators around us.
The highlight, as always, was the people. We had the pleasure of meeting and reconnecting with wonderful founders, scientists, and business leaders — from fellow Vancouver companies building world-class technology close to home, to entrepreneurs and organizations from across the globe. The conversations spanned continents and industries, and reminded us how much shared momentum there is behind tackling big challenges like antimicrobial resistance.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello, swapped ideas, and shared their own stories. We came away inspired, full of new connections, and more excited than ever about the road ahead.
